Church in Summer

 

We were all saddened by the death of Simon Roodhouse on Good Friday, 6th April.  Everyone at St Mary's offers our sympathy to Liz and the family.  Simon was suffering from a condition known as Multiple Systems Atrophy - MSA - and kept a blog - http://livingwithmsa.blogspot.co.uk - it is really worth reading.

Simon's funeral will be on Thursday 19th April at 11.30am
at St Mary's, and will be followed by a green burial nearby. 

 


  St Mary's Church is situated between the two villages of Embsay and Eastby on the Southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, close to Skipton.  St Mary's is an Anglican church within the Bradford Diocese. We are clustered with Holy Trinity, Skipton and St Augustine's in Draughton.
